When it comes to tourist attractions, Kuala Lumpur definitely does not disappoint. The
city is filled with diverse attractions that are inspired by Chinese, Malay, Tamil, and
other indigenous inhabitants.

Aside from girl escorts, the city also boasts of amazing nightspots that you can go to so
that you can either relax or party until you drop.

In today’s article, I will go over some of the best things that you can do in Kuala Lumpur.

Sri Mahamariamman Temple

Malaysia is predominantly a Muslim country but there are also other religions being
practiced in the place as well.

If you want to know about the other religions, you can visit the Sri Mahamariamman Temple,
which is the oldest Hindu Temple in Kuala Lumpur.

You will easily recognize the place because of its peculiar but amazing-looking façade
of different Hindu Deities.

The local Tamil community considers this as their main place of worship but people that
practice other religions are free to visit the place too.

Petronas Twin Towers

Who could ever forget about the Petronas Twin Towers? I mean, it is actually one of the
most iconic tourist spots in Kuala Lumpur so if you are in the area, you must go here!

Considered as the tallest twin towers in the world, these towers feature what
postmodern architecture should be.

You can either marvel at the structure from the outside or you can head on over to the
sky bridge to get a glimpse of the entire city.

KL Bird Park

For the purpose of this article, I will refer to Kuala Lumpur as “KL” to make it easier, as
well as for brevity.

Anyway, the KL bird park is an enormous aviary that houses more than 3000 birds
which promote local ones, as well as feature some imported birds as well.

Aside from the fact that you can glimpse so many birds in the area, the actual place
really looks nice and can help you be one with nature.

Sunway Lagoon Theme Park

This pretty huge place actually has a lot to offer. People who want to have a relaxing
time can go to the forest area by the hanging bridges.

People who want to quench their thirst for fun can definitely visit the ‘extreme’ theme
parks in the area- which is perfect for the whole family.

Central Market

Formerly built as a wet market, the central market (also referred to as Pasar Seni) is
now a home for many of Malaysia’s goods. If you want to buy some Malaysia arts and
crafts for souvenirs, this is the place to be.

Lot 10 Hutong

There is no shortage of eateries in Kuala Lumpur but if you are not comfortable with
eating food outside, you can find this amazing indoor eatery that is home to a lot of
amazing dishes.

Located in the Lot 10 Mall, the Hutong food court is home to some of Malaysia’s dishes.
Other Asian-inspired dishes are also present as well.

Royal Selangor Visitor Centre

This place is a hidden gem because not a lot of people know that this place actually has
a gift shop that sells ornaments and pewter jewelry. If that is your thing, definitely head
on over to the Royal Selangor Visitor Center.

KL Tower

One of the best things that I love about Kuala Lumpur is that there is no shortage of
high-rise buildings. If you want a panoramic view of the entire city, definitely go to the
viewing deck in the KL tower.

Butterfly Park

Since Kuala Lumpur is a busy city, there are some people that would opt for a more
quiet time. If that is what you want, I definitely recommend that you check out the
Butterfly park.

This place is rich in flora and fauna, but more specifically, it is filled with a lot of different
butterflies that will dance over you as you bask in the Malaysian sun.

Suria KLCC

The last place but definitely not the least is a shopping haven known as the Suria KLCC.

This enormous shopping center houses a lot of designer stores, amazing restaurants,
high-end cinemas, and so much more.

Just a word of advice: If you are going to this place, be sure that your wallet is ready.
